We have seen slight redness and mild burning if a numbing medication is not used in the syringe. Small "bumps" in the areas where the injections are performed have also been seen. Placing a small amount of hydrocortisone cream on the area will resolve this in a matter of minutes. An ice pack is also helpful immediately after the injections are performed. Even if nothing is done post-injection all of the above reactions resolve within 15-30 minutes.
